Jennifer Fuller has been in the auditing and accounting field for the last 15 years. Her career began as an Associate with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, one of the largest public accounting firms in the world today. After four years with PwC, Ms. Fuller came to the County of Riverside to work at the Department of Public Social Services as a supervisor within their Internal Audits group. Within two years, Ms. Fuller became the manager of the group which conducted audits of their outside agencies contracts and of internal processes within the department.
In 2007, Ms. Fuller moved to the Auditor-Controller’s Office and she is currently the Chief Accountant over payroll. Ms. Fuller and her staff are responsible for the biweekly payroll of over 18,000 County and special district employees.
Ms. Fuller is committed to empowering women in their knowledge of personal finance. She believes that personal finance should be taught in the high schools to give all children a head start on what they will face as working adults and ensure that women have the knowledge they need to survive financially on their own. She believes this knowledge would provide a good foundation and understanding which could help lessen their fears of financial security and enable them to be able to leave a bad relationship should they find themselves in that situation.
